This moment needs to be shown to anyone who dares complain about VAR today and asks to go back to not being allowed to check a bad call! VAR definitely needs some serious patches. I agree! It certainly has exposed that the problem wasn't simply the refs couldn't see everything, and there were much more deep-seated issues that needed fixing. Also true!
But anyone who cries, "it's made the game worse," undoubtedly needs to go back and watch this and remember what football was like before VAR (seriously, how do people forget so quickly?)! Remember the days when a guy could be five yards onside or offside, the linesman could somehow miss it, and the horrible decision would stand and there was nothing that could be done to change it (not even look at the video screen in the stadium)! People think VAR "ruins" things now? This is what football was like without it!
Yes, there still needs to be improvements, but I am very glad incidents like this have completely disappeared! This is what ruined games! Not the petty stuff people complain about today now that stuff like this no longer happens!
