  1. Rudi Völler and Jürgen Klinsmann upfront was just perfect. With Klinsmann you had a acrobatic, fast and confident Striker….and Völler was a fighter and Leader who would try anything and everything to score…both were cheat codes concerning flanks because both were phenomenal in the air.

So charismatic, both of them. And both with great careers…. Klinsmann was a world class goalscorer wherever he played….FC Bayern München, VFB Stuttgart, Inter Milan or Tottenham Hotspurs….and Rudi Völler was beloved by the Fans, in Germany he is considered a absolute legendary Striker….he also won the Champions League with Jean Pierre Papin with Olympique Marseille and was beloved at AS Roma. Even in old age he was still fantastic….

Back then Germany really had a entire league of great Strikers….Stefan Kuntz, Ulf Kirsten, Roland Wohlfarth, Frank Mill, Karl Heinz Riedle, Oliver Bierhoff, Heiko Herrlich, Fredi Bobic, Olaf Marschall, Andreas Thom….just one great player after another.

It's a shame that this position has not been filled by a elite player since the retirement of the incredible Miroslav Klose and Mario Gomez….

Deniz Undav is beloved by many Bundesliga Fans, but he is still far away from being even at the Level of a Heiko Herrlich or Fredi Bobic.
