  1. The Macedonia naming dispute section is rife with inaccuracies and disinformation.

    1. Macedonia was called Republic of Macedonia before (and still is).
    2. The name "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" was a temporary compromise solution, since Greece blocked Macedonia entering the UN under its constitutional name (Republic of Macedonia) and issued a trading embargo that suffocated the still infant economy.
    – The name of the country internally was Republic of Macedonia, and was recognized by 134 sates, including:
    USA, UK, Russia, China…
    3. The referendum failed (spectacularly) with 37% turnout.
    – The referendum's question was "Are you in favour of European Union and NATO membership by accepting the agreement between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Greece?"
which is deliberately obtuse and meaningless.
    – The majority of the turnout was in areas where Macedonians are not a majority.
    – This means the original referendum in 1991 is still valid by all accounts.
    4. The agreement with Greece in the referendum question was not legally obtained, without required majority in parliament and straight up passed through without meeting Macedonian legislative.

I know TIFO isn't political and shouldn't be, but these are questions of extreme importance to people and shouldn't be portrayed without proper research. Better not to be mentioned at all.

  2. You mispronounced "Rashica", it's "Ra-shee-tsa". In Slavic languages "c" is never pronounced as "k", only as either "ts" (plain), "ch" (with an accent/in a digraph) or "kh" (specifically in some languages with the digraph "ch"). 🙂

  3. LOL Tifo, that comparisson beetwen Belgium and Russia xD.
It`s sounded like, Russia strong too and are near by Belgium, because they beat San Marino 9-0, the same score xD

  4. As a Bulgarian who was watching the game with England from the stands, I will say with a clear conscience that I heard 0 monkey chants, 0 racist abuse and saw very few nazi flags (we are used to them here, guess that is not ok) and have in mind that Tyrone Mings (who first started to point fingers) was on the far end of the pitch and he pointed to the sector close to myself. I repeat, not a single monkey chant or any other abuse was heard by myself or my friends. England's team is full of great players and big crying pseudo men. I hope you do bad in the tournament and good luck in your daily lives
