This is one of the best goals I have ever seen…and I mean just for what it was. Not because it's a world cup goal or because it contributed to a win. No just the goal itself. You add all the other stuff, that's just icing on the cake.
He could have achieved a lot more with his talent. Underachieved. Even being the first Nigerian to score two world cub braces.
With his pace, he should have destroyed the EPL. When people look at any player with any semblance of pace they say wow pace….no Musa didn't have football pace, he had pure pace. The type of guy that probably came first in athletics growing up…and in flashes like this, he also showed technical ability.
We Nigerians always questioned his IQ though. If this guy had better football IQ, he would be a household name across the world. One thing I will say though, is I have never seen a goal like this one before. If anyone has, please tell me. But I haven't.
