  1. It's simple, they were put in favorites spot to reduce the odds because gambling sites predicted that a lot of money will backed England, not necessarily that they are the real contender.

  2. Well Pickford is average, who is going to play next to overpriced Maguire? leftback is meh, no creativity in the midfield, Kane will be injured or not fit. This team is downgrade from 2018

  3. England are trash, bet against them, guaranteed money every tournament.
1 undeserved final appearance in 90 years, no others. Countries with as many or more finals – Portugal, Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Czech Republic, Croatia, Russia/USSR, Hungary, all of which regularly produce superior players to puny, irrelevant, talentless England.

  4. I'm not convinced that southgate picks the right players to mold the team into. I dont see any reason on picking pickford, Barkley, oxlade Chamberlain or rashford in his team but he regularly does ?

  5. If England's back line consists of Chilwell/Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Gomez, and Alexander Arnold, that defense will be quite good.

  6. Let’s see how England manage themselves against Croatia , Czech Republic and either ( Serbia , Scotland, Norway or Israel) .

In case Serbia qualifies, I bet England might finish 3rd or 4 th .

  7. I agree that England has such great players, but honestly it is a joke to say that they are THE favorite team to win euro 2020.. We are speaking about a real tournament and England never really shines when it comes to serious competition. It is true they did better than usual the last WC, but let's be honest it was not the journey of the century. They performed 7 games for 4 wins and 3 loses… 3 loses in the last official big tournament don't make you favorite for the next tournament I'm sorry. They beat Panama, Tunisia, tough win against Colombia and finally Sweden. None of them are very strong teams, of course they are "good" teams still, but we are speaking about beating teams that make you favorite for the title, teams that were favorite or at least outsider. England did play 3 games in 2018 against such teams and the results were 3 loses against Belgium ( twice ) and Croatia. I know English people and mostly English press like to high up their national team and screaming " it's coming home " after winning one game, but don't be biased. England is a good team and its real place is more at the 4th or 5th as a favorite team for the win. I'm sure the vast majority people other than English would agree.

  8. God that presenter is unbearably childish. England are favourites with English bookmakers because they know they'll be betted on heavily by the English whilst they can be considered genuine contenders. Not because they're the best team. Realistically England should be behind France, Portugal and Germany and possibly Belgium. But the bookies won't give you those odds on a team you'll be happy to back on the off-chance.

  9. I mean I think sancho,Alexander Arnold,Sterling, rashford, kane, greenwood, grealish,Dean Henderson etc. Are great players and this is a new england squad when the euros come back we will show are new strength ? ?gbeng
