Italy on paper are never favourites to win any tournament , the closest the came to being a favourite was world cup in 2002 Korea where they were robbed by the referee. That was Italy's best squad assembled. But they always do well in big tournaments. 6 world cup finals (winning 4) , finishing 3rd once in 1990 Italia , loosing only on Penalties in 1994,1998 and 1990 (baggio era) and reaching Euros final 3 times and winning one is incredible achievement. England is actually not that bad now. Pickford is a beast in net at the moment and they have a pretty balanced roster. They need to play a bit smarter. Harry Kane has to be more clinical with the chances he is given in big games.
