  1. @Valeman31 that's because the goal pass from fabregas was clearly onside. if you want to complain about a call it would definitely be that Holland should have had a corner kick just a minute before instead of a goal kick

  2. Google fifa offside rule and a link to a pdf file appears.
Here's a direct quotation from that pdf…"Consideration should be given to any part of the head, body or feet of the attacker in relation to the second last defender, the ball or the halfway line.
FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS DECISION THE ARMS ARE NOT CONSIDERED TO BE PART OF THE BODY"

Google it and view the images in the document and please note in the freeze-frame in this video the ball has already been played,it's in the AIR! ONSIDE!

  3. Ok mabe he wasnt offside but holland were supposed to have a corner but the stupid ref. disallowed it and elia was fould and there was no fk??

  4. iniesta was not off-side at the end….BUT WAS IN THE BEGINNING AND WAS AFFECTING THE PHASE CAUSE THE BALL WAS HEADING TO HIM!!!!!!!! simple off side rules…

  5. If you are the REAL world champion, you don´t need a video like this to proof it! Spain lost to Switzerland and played an overall mediocre tournament. Germany embarassed England and Argentina, played fantastic football and was everyone´s wish-champ. You don´t need wannabe-hightech graphics to proof that! 2012 and 2014: GERMANY ON TOP !

  6. @YeeSoest I agree with you, I'm English & they (England) played really crap and with no positional thinking. Spain just played particularly scrappy & got 1-0 wins & Switzerland unlocked their defence at least once which proves they did not have the best defence & if they was playing back in the 1990 WC they would've got knocked out by someone like the crap Brazil team of then. It should've been a Germany vs Holland/Uruguay final.

  7. @YeeSoest it's not about how many goals are scored. Spain dominated possession in every match they played and that's what matters is the impact a team has on a match not how many goals they score

  8. @TheGuidoBrothers You know Bayern Munich? Last year, they had 59% possession on average over the 34games of the season. They came in 3rd behind the superb, young, fascinating and driven team of Borussia Dortmund, who, much like the german national team, played the most impressive TEAM football and won fans and supporters all over the world! Possession is good, but you win a game by goals, not percent! And you don´t lose to Switzerland and then go and call yourself "best team in the world"

  9. spain didnt deserve it.
firstly look closley… hes clearly offside
second the free kick taken by wesley at goal was off the wall and should of been a corner.
semi final vs portugal 1-0… last 2 passes of that goal was offside, come on maybe 1 but 2. tss

  10. Before seeing this video I thought it was a good goal. After looking at this you can see the off-sides. Look at the goal scorers hand during the closeup. And how about addressing the foul before the Spain break away? The foul that led to them getting possession of the ball instead of having a free kick outside of their own box?

  11. This is the wrong frame to prove your point…? You're showing the first pass, there is a pass 2 seconds after this frame. Please look at that one and tell me that is not offside…

  12. It is offside the rules are that if some part of your body is behind the last defender it is offside ( most of the time they look at the foot that is the closest to the goal and that foot + his arm are over the line. Conclusion: it is offside and it has to be given as offside so the linesman and Webb are wrong and the netherlands are robbed from the chance of winning the world cup

  13. Once that spanish player kicked the ball to innesta,he was not off side,HOWEVER, once innesta recieved the ball he was standing off side, so the goal should had to be disaproved by the arbitor, sadly the netherlands soccor team are now back to square one and have wait another 32 years before the will be in the final round of the world cup and win it.

  14. The rule is that no part of the body should be in front of two players of the other team…mostly the last defender…..in this case…it CLEARLY shows that the goal has been made in offside position, because of the arm of Iniesta. But…..it is also a rule that the referee decides what he sees. No matter what this referee really saw, he decided this was NOT offside…even though he has been wrong….so officially Spain won the world cup by a wrong decision by the referee or a right decision by the referee with the wrong intention….i put my money on the first one! Long live video referees in the future!!!

  15. I always liked an will continue to cheer for Netherlands but man, you guys are a bunch of butthurts. It's over, Iniesta wasn't offside and it was a great wc and a great finals.
