Kane is a good goalscorer/finisher however he is not the greatest TECHNICAL player. There's a massive distinction between a technical player and a goalscorer. Technical players are players like Pirlo or Ronaldinho, they are naturally gifted dribblers who can string passes together all day without many inaccuracies, they have complete control of the ball at all times. Then there are strikers who are put on the pitch simply because they have great overall finishing prowess, they have the strikers knowledge of where to be to receive the ball from the midfield and when to hit the ball, great attacking positioning also. Kane is a goalscorer not a technical player. So essentially Kane might not look pretty when he plays but at the end of the season you will see his goal contribution stats and that's why he stays on the pitch and why people regard him as a good player.
