9. SL played in 5-3-2 formation reflecting the lack of confidence the Serbian coach had. 4-1-3–2 formation would be the best for SL. Four defenders, in front of then 1 hard tackling midfielder, 3 two wingers and creative midfielder, and two forwards. or 4-4-1-1

20. Different countries are at different stages of the development of their football. Keep it up Sri Lanka. Given relatively smaller bodies of Asians I think possession football with short passing would work better for Southern Asian teams in the long run.

I truly wish to see both Sri Lanka and India go to the World Cup together with Korea and Japan ONE DAY 🙂 I can see Sri Lanka and Indian football improving which is very good.
