Why change it? This is becoming an American game.

Should be sued, it's no longer a Champions League, Champions, Runners Up, also rans and past winners league is the real title. If the ESL was about money then so is this, how do they decide who plays who in the league format ?
People saying this is the same as ESL???? One is inclusive and expanding the tournament while keeping it competitive.
The other is completely exclusive, noncompetitive and destroys every other tournament.

If my team didn't finish in one of the champions league spots, then you dont qualify. You dont go begging with cap in hand, looking for a spot through charity. This will dilute the top for race and competition, as big clubs will be like— ehh well I can always be a charity case…
