Messi's mistake is his second touch(0:18). He should have dribbled towards keeper by closing
the way of defender coming from behind but he run directly forwards narrowing his shot angle.This was
the Messi's mistake! If Maradona or R9 had been there they would have dribbled towards the goal keeper
and boom! Neuer would have looked like a dead wood especially if R9 had dribbled past him as well.
Messi takes too much useless steps when he approaches the ball to hit in a very open position and
lost time at his first touch as well because he unnecessarily turns his back to the goal to control the ball(0:34).
His left foot is also weak can't hit hard without gaining momentum till he hit the ball defender almost caught him.
So stop blaming Higuain for the defeat.

It’s kind of sad to see that Ronaldo fans look up these type of videos to see messi fail and I don’t understand. As a messi fan myself I’ve never looked up times where Ronaldo failed and had bad moments but have watched he’s best moments many times. I prefer one but still appreciate the other
