Well, I think, that Kaj Leo is better goalkeeper than Jákup Mikkelsen.
Hm, you really think so? 🙂 never tell that to the people of Klaksvík! 😉
Kaj Leo really was an excellent goalkeeper for HB Tórshavn. It was a shame for him that Jens Martin Knudsen was so great at that same period. Kaj Leo is a nice person, too – I know him a bit.
But now we have a new burning question, who is better politician… Jákup has recently been elected to the town council of Klaksvík, his home town. Probably one day he will replace Kaj Leo as prime-minister, hehe 😉
I know, If I go to Klaksvík, I'll never tell such a think. 😛 They would kill me. 😀 But unfortunately, journey to the Faroe Islands is to expansive for me now, so it is just a dream. :>
Kaj Leo wouldn't be chosen to be a Prime Minister, if he won't be nice person. :> I told that he was better goalkeeper, because I saw some of Mikkelsen's saves, and they disappointed me, but here, in Poland, even if I am trying, I am not able to watch Faroese league matches and all of internationals.
And as for the politics – what's the career of Kaj Leo as a politician? Was he a member of Tórshavn city council?
An one more think – if you, on the Faroe Islands talk to each other by the name, like in Iceland? I read many times native utterances (I'm not sure, if I used this word properly), where they did it, but I would like to know if that was wrong observation, or I'm right. :>
No, you surely have not seen many of Jákup's saves, which really were of world class…
Yes, Kaj Leo started his political career as Tórshavn town council member.
The Faroese use to call each other by name only – or, if there are namesakes, by name and second name – but almost never by family name only, though most of them, unlike Icelanders, do have family names.
…og Kaj fer kei-túr hehe…nokkso upplagt 😉
