The firm undertook various fundraising events for the charity including a weekly lotto, staff lunches, Halloween, Valentines and St George’s Day cake sales, quizzes, raffles, a Grand National sweep stake, a FIFA world Cup tournament, a skittle evening and a Eurovision sweepstake. Peter Turner, Senior Partner at QualitySolicitors Clarke & Son was delighted with the money-raising efforts: “This year the staff have exceeded themselves in raising much more cash than in recent years for this worthwhile national charity. As we are now part of the national QualitySolicitors group, it is fitting that we give something back to a very worthwhile national charity.” For the next financial year, the firm will be turning its efforts to local charity once more, raising money for Kestrel FM’s Kestrel Kids Trust, which helps local families and children in Basingstoke.
