Not really. A U.S. team, men or women, made another Top 2 finish. Japan women got it done and the U.S. women didn't. It happens.

England's national football teams, men's and women's? Lose a penalty shootout and still trying to make another major tournament final. Between their own two teams, England made only one other Top 2 finish in major tournaments combined since the men's 1966 FIFA World Cup win: 2009 UEFA Women's Championship where England lost 6-2 to Germany.

  2. @NorthernerMatty123 No, that's the percentage of people OVERWEIGHT. Look up your statistics dude xD Did you know that the UK is about 65% overweight?

  3. @joesakic91 Nobody cares about womes football, Its not even televised! PAH HA HA you fucking nob, LMFAO your happy that your mens team is shit but your womens team is good HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  4. I like how Americans and other countries are saying british football is crap but Engish football is where football started, it has the greatest supporters (which other countries may not understand is very important), is eigth in the world rankings out of about 250 international teams and has the best, most exciting league in the world the english premier league (to prove this, head to any country and ask someone playing football if they support a english team, 2 in 3 will most likely say YES!)

  5. @joesakic91 ye england was cheatted when thay lost to portugal because of that dick ronaldo

and who gives a fuck about womens football i think there are only 12 teams in the womens world cup and there have only been i think 5 women world cups and in england girls dont play football women football is only big in i think america its very small in europe i dont no any girl who as ever played

  6. @joesakic91 Nobody gives a crap about womens football, it is never on tv, so lets not include womens football, just men…. Whats that 1 -0 OH HAHAHAH FATTY AMERICAN BOY IS WRONG AHAHAHAHA

  7. Im surprised at how many Americans have rated my comments as negative i didn't think that they liked football (SOCCER) It is so much more clear that British footy is better by FAR than american football
Who is Americas best player.. oh is it Donovan,
what clubs has he said in an interview after the USA/England match that he prefered to play for, Everton even our shit teams are better than you good teams
you inbreeding, overweight and bible belt pricks, Go on im waiting for you
    cry and thumb down

  8. @ProFootballer2B Give an example of why the comment i made is rubbish, your argument has no point to it, its really stupid to be honest and how do you know that it isnt mainly Americans, which it most likely is Americans that dislike my comments because im sticking up for Britain.
Make an arguement with a point, not just saying my comment is 'rubbish' with no examples, its dumb asses like you who dont deserve respect >:(

  9. @BritishBroadway "It is so much more clear that British footy is better by FAR than american football" I'd be more careful in how you qualify that, the USMNT is much better than Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland, and MLS is miles ahead of the Welsh Premier League and the Irish League (NI Premiership), and almost all of the Scottish Premier League outwith the Old Firm and Motherwell – I actually think LA could offer a strong challenge for the OF this season.

  10. @BritishBroadway In terms of quality the best MLS teams are probably around the middle to lower half of the Championship, average teams would be bottom of the table to promotion zone of League One, and the worst teams would be in the play-off zone of League One. Considering the current professional league has only existed for 16 years I'd say thats pretty good.

  11. @ProFootballer2B Are you English??… your account says your German, american, Mexican and now your English too wow, you must represent the small (if any) proportion of the german, american, mexican and english population, and do not tell someone from britain how much respect there is for american teams, I go to Football matches regularly, I don't need someone to tell me that.
and you say there are many american in english football, well the premier league has only 8 american players!

  12. American women are good at football (soccer) because US women wouldnt play the other team sports as much like American Football, ice hockey, baseball etc so football gets more attention.

  13. The American fat jokes are getting pretty lame. If you really believe every American is fat then you are a true idiot. It's funny how these assholes try to insult Americans on American YouTube. Lame

  14. its sad to say england never goes far in most world cups because they have such great talent but always seem to choke.
as for the U.S. they did well in 2010 good for them but dont think because they tied england that they're the best i mean it was a really fluke goal and england had a teribble world cup.

  15. England were not allowed to play during the first few world cups because they were considered "pro" while everyone else were considered "amatuers" if you guys didnt know that..

  16. @willsmackyoudown Oh… we hare 6th in the world rankings, you are… 26th?
Oh and the olympics… I couldn't care less, you have a larger population so have a lot more talented people.

  17. @BritishBroadway

lol, loser excuse. China has a billion people and they are what? Like 400 some medals? Ok genius, lets do some math. We have 331 million people… England has 51 million. You have only 208 gold medals. 208 medals for lets say every 50 million people. Statistically even if you had our population you wouldnt break 1500 gold medals. Hold on…. I gotta get eat. Mhmmmmm

  18. Not much competition in women's soccer? Let me see…Japan, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, Sweden, England is emerging and China and Norway are climbing back little by little.

Those teams give the United States women a run for their money.
