Wide Eyes Satisfied!

in Uncategorized

We grabbed the first lead on the 23th minute with Van Nistlerooy burying it in front of me with my eyes wide open magnifying the moment a gazillion times. Oh it was beautiful, a feeling I can’t explain. Four minutes after my eyes saw another goal this time courtesy of Bakary Kone.

My eyes were satisied and my heart was brimming with joy and triumph. How many goals could my country score? How about seven? Oh boy am I having the time of my life.

Eleven minutes have passed and to my surprise Kone Bakary buried a goal on the 38th minute of the game. I calmed down and consoled myself knowing that we could score tons come second half of the game.

Before the second half would start I cleaned my eye glasses to make sure I capture the moment we score once again.

The clock read 50, 60, 80 minutes and we still did not score. I was getting bored as I look at the action a little frustated because deep down I am expecting our country to score at least six goals. The final whistle sounded and the score remained at 2-1.

Am I frustrated? A little but I shouldn’t. I am just a fan who wants glory and greateness for my country. I am just a fan who saw my team win. I am just a fan who’ll take the win nevertheless.
