1. Ronaldo goal 2. Adriano goal. 3. Dida’s successive goal saves 4. Ze for the icing.
Ronaldo once again showed why he is the deadliest striker in the world by breaking into the history books once again as the highest goal scorer in FIFA World Cup Finals. He overtook Gerd Muller’s record to get his 15th goal in the 5th minute of the game.
Ghana played exceptionally well in the first half and mid way through by continously putting pressure on Brazil’s goal only to see one shot after the other being deflected by Dida or off-shooting their attempte to hit the back of the net.
Beautiful Football
Brazil plays beautiful football and showcased their formation and passing ability throughout the game; so good were the successive passes made that I though they were using their hands to play football.
The first half was controlled by Ghana in terms of attacks and aggresiveness while Brazil was holding their ground on defense. Ghana’s style made them susceptible to counterattacks where we saw a number of breakaways, too bad they cannot be converted into points:
Anyways, Brazil played great football finishing 3 points while dancing the samba on their table
