Every time I see videos from Germany 2014 I am forced to think of Marco Reus, who missed the world cup along with winning the trophy over a last minute injury he picked up literally the day before the German team flew to Brazil… Even all this years later it absolutely breaks my heart… Because he doesn‘t get enough credit, he was vital in the qualification, in his prime and easily one of Germany‘s best players back then and on the same level as Özil, Kroos, Schweinsteiger, Müller, Neuer and others
