This was definitely the best tournament ever. To be eliminated by a golden goal from the eventual bronze medalist (Brazil) after coming back from 3 goals down made me so proud of the Super Falcons, who till this day remain one of a few teams to have qualified for all the Women's World Cup tournaments…
?????????????
You're doing well Sir Victor ??
That was awesome. ???
Final score line of this match was USA 6 Nigeria 1.
They simply rolled over our girls after that early set back.
?
I was so little when i watched this match my elder sis was screaming her name sake ?
My big sister is kikelomo Ajayi
The quality of female football was so high them , upon all the stars falcon had .
When Falcons were Falcons but the NFF decided to destroy Falcons
Looking back, We could have been 3-0 up if we had taken our chances. USA was rattled after that goal and struggled to keep up with the falcons. Unfortunately, we were so naive and played an open attacking game against the best USA team of all time and they ended up beating us 7-1.
The best Nigeria female Squad…from Goalkeeper, Defence, midfield,attack..and even the bench…..
Where is she now
I believe we lost that game by 7-1, though we qualified to play in the next round against Brazil in an epic game.
…and we ended up losing 6-1. Nkiru Okosieme…
Akide
That woman doesn’t smile
I thought they said women football wasn't patronised. The crowd I see here is bomb.
God, where are this woman now.
Memories. Kudaisi..
Na this game Nigeria use 1 goal collect 7 goals
That's when they use to wear men jerseys, TOO BIG.
But they ended up losing by 7-1
God bless Nigeria and its people
