  1. Watched an old England – Beckham era – match the other day…it used to be horrible watching England give the ball away constantly. I know it's Bulgaria (no offence) but the level of skill of England players and patterns of play are on a completely different level. Let's hope it leads to something if we ever have another major tournament…

  1. Italy could easily have 2 more cups. Robbed by France ?? once in an injury time where there were no injuries for the French to tie and push the game longer. And Italia 90 un beatable insane team and lost one game in the whole tournament. The cup.

  2. Italy on paper are never favourites to win any tournament , the closest the came to being a favourite was world cup in 2002 Korea where they were robbed by the referee. That was Italy's best squad assembled. But they always do well in big tournaments. 6 world cup finals (winning 4) , finishing 3rd once in 1990 Italia , loosing only on Penalties in 1994,1998 and 1990 (baggio era) and reaching Euros final 3 times and winning one is incredible achievement. Only Brazil and Germany are ahead of Italy in terms of that . Head to Head with Germany , Italia always dominates them. So Brazil is only team

  3. Pundits are paid by rich English club heavily they always put england in fav list..

PS: yes england as had some great players in last 30 yrs but those players are used to intense rivalry in domestic league that they carry it to the national team..

  4. England ???? Come on. England is always a bust. Italy a step above England now and in the past. Spain may be even with Italy now since Spain has gotten older. France and Germany are the ones to catch.

  5. Me as a Italian myself i Would want us to win it but France and Belgium are the 2 favourites
But i think we can beat Spain Holland Germany England and Portugal
Italy to make quarter finals vs Belgium
    Turkey 0-2 Italy
    Italy 1-0 Switzerland
    Italy 3-1 Wales
    Italy 3-0 Ukraine
    Belgium 1-0 Italy

  6. England is actually not that bad now. Pickford is a beast in net at the moment and they have a pretty balanced roster. They need to play a bit smarter. Harry Kane has to be more clinical with the chances he is given in big games.

  7. Di Lorenzo at right-back. Spinazzola at left-back after his good performance against Holland. Bonucci and Acerbi as CB's but that can change too. Barella and maybe Tonali as back-up to Jorginho. Insigne on left as Zaniolo is injured. Kean as a potential no9 if he continues to develop. Berardi, Castrovilli, Luca Pellegrini, Bastoni as possible replacement's to integrate!
