  1. My all time favourite goal. I remember watching it and just applauding in my living room! Why couldn't they win it?! surely the most dominant team at 2006 WC

  2. I still remember all 6 goals scored by Argentina against Serbia..

1st goal was a power shot by Maxi Rodriguez
2nd goal was the 26 passes goal, scored by Cambiasso
3rd goal was an own goal by Serbia's Captain
4th goal was a sliding shot by the Legendary Crespo
5th goal was an incredible solo goal by Tevez
6th goal was by an 18yr old prodigy called Lionel Messi..

  3. This is an English channel, so why hasn't he made a World Cup video about 1966? It might not be important internationally, but it was England's greatest sporting moment, and arguably the most exciting world cup final game.

"Some people are on the pitch! They think it's all over!… It is now, it's four!"

  4. Argentina wasn't that great at all. There were big problems in Serbia's squad when the tournament started and they went on to lose all 3 group matches.
The very fact they beat one of best European sides at that time 6:0 (a side that cruised in the qualifiers without conceding a single goal and was seen as the dark horses of the tournament) shows how internal squabblings in the Serbian team shattered their team spirit on the pitch just before the World Cup ending in a fiasco.
The manager fell out with a number of star players including Vidic over apparent nepotism after listing his own son into the 23-men squad for the tournament even though he didn't play a single minute in the qualifiers and the media circus that built up stoking controversies and distrust, turning the fans, players and the FA people against one another.
    Real pity.

  5. You could do a video about the Senegal goal vs Denmark in 2002. It's the best example of a team fast counter attack goal. Making use of the advantage of the empty space and fast movement of the ball with fluid transition 🙂

  6. great video yet again. I would be really interested to hear what you believe the difference is between club football/teams and international teams. there is a dynamic which I cannot figure out and would really like to hear your take on it. there are some international teams that seem to work well and perform without necessarily having the best team on paper where as other teams on paper seem to have it all, and cannot bring it together. Thanks again for another great video
