Germany has claimed third place for a fourth time in World Cup history by beating Uruguay 3-2. The Match Germany took the lead through Thomas Mueller. Uruguay equalized through Edison Cavani and took the lead through Diego Forlan. Marcell Jansen equalized for Germany, and Sami Khedira scored the winner. The Review Germany played their first match in a while without any players related to Poland.
