It just makes you shake your head. I can watch it (and all his goals) over and over again. It is just having complete command of the relationship between the ball, your feet and your brain.

i've seen a lot of players in my life, from cruyff to messi. from platini to zidane and from george best to ronaldo (the brazilian one, not the queer one). no one has the technique of dennis bergkamp, no one comes even close. i'm not saying he is the best ever, i'am saying i've never seen anyone with such great skill. an absolute genius!

the way he controlled the ball from his first touch………..just absolute perfection. when the ball is coming at u like that, its soooo dificult to control it on ur toes like that.
This should be #2 after Maradona's long run against England. It's very close, though. Maradona is at warp speed through 60 yards of defenders. It's jawdropping, the last few moves and the stuff-in. Bergkamp receives a 60-yard bomb from DeBoer on his toe, makes one move on one of THE toughest defenders and stuffs it in. Very tough call. Love them both.
