  1. Brilliant awareness from Lukaku here, saw him check his shoulder just before the goal, most strikers wouldn't.

  2. I am literally impressed with Lukaku in this goal! Just look at his movement and the way he creates spaces for Meunier and Chadli at the end. He just looked at them two times and ran into the right directions to leave them in a comfortable position. Amazing counter attack, just amazing

  3. This goal could’ve easily never have happened
Japan should’ve held the ball and wait for extra time to replenish instead trying to go for the winner
They looked completely gassed out after Belgium got themselves going
Not taking anything away from Belgium though, that counter attack was incredible and one of the best team goals I’ve ever seen
    Fair play Belgium

  4. I remember watching this goal and clapping my hands so loud I alarmed the person passing through the lobby

  5. Courtois, passes it to De Bruyne. De Bruyne, straight to Vertonghen. Vertonghen, crosses it to Lukaku, who misses on purpose, then Chadli takes the shot. Great teamwork.

  6. No one notices this…

Look at the guy sprinting right behind De Bruyne. You’ll see he’s number 3. He literally ran the full length of the pitch just to be one step too short of stopping chadli score.

  7. Can't believe those guys in yellow vests have to stand 90+ minutes just watching the audience? What a crazy job. Like one of them turned around slightly and applauded when Belgium scored…. I would be bored to death after 10 minutes…..
