South Africa playmaker Steven Pienaar picked up an early yellow card as “Bafana Bafana” were locked at 0-0 with Uruguay after 15 minutes of their Group A match at the World Cup on Wednesday. Pienaar was booked after charging out of the defensive wall to block Diego Forlan’s free kick with his arm in the sixth minute at Loftus Versfeld.
