FIFA U-20 Women's World Championship BrazilThe loss of US Women’s World Championship became a redemption to Brazil in some way after their country lost in FIFA World Cup in Germany.

US controlled most of the game and looked like they will win a podium finish but Barbara of Brazil showed toughness in stopping goals all the way to the penalty shootout that helped them secure third place.

Both teams played very well despite the rain which made the field difficult to play. The surface became heavy for both teams and they looked slowed down in the second half and wasn’t a great footballing sight for the remainder of the game.

Nonetheless, Brazil redeemed themselves and their country who failed to win this tournament during the last two times of the same competitions and their country losing in Germany recently.

After the Brazilian keeper stopped the penalty shot of Amanda Poach, Brazil went to run in celebration embracing each other relieved and happy on their podium finish.
